POSITION INFO:

My client specialize in crafting unforgettable journeys throughout Southern Africa, offering a diverse range of travel experiences, including tailored FIT packages, adventure tours, exclusive female group travel, romantic honeymoons, and more. They are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Inbound Travel Consultant to join their dynamic team and help them to continue delivering exceptional travel experiences to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

-      Develop and arrange comprehensive travel itineraries for both individual and group clients across Southern Africa.

-      Conduct detailed assessments of agents'''' needs to deliver high-quality, tailored services.

-      Create and compile imaginative B2B quotations and itineraries.

-      Manage rooming lists, release dates, and ensure precise completion of all quotations.

-      Maintain effective communication with agents throughout the quotation process and follow up to secure confirmations.

-      Issue and manage invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms.

-      Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive rates and ensure compliance with booking and cancellation policies.

-      Coordinate with the operations team to manage ground services and ensure timely delivery of finalized itineraries and hotel vouchers.

-      Provide regular updates to the Managing Director and address client inquiries promptly.

-      Promote products and services to enhance guest experiences and conduct thorough destination research.

Essential Requirements:

-      Grade 12 or equivalent.

-      Qualification in Tourism.

-      Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Inbound Consultant.

-      Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking ability.

-      Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

-      Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons and handle emergencies.
