SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER

We are actively looking for Java developers with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of personalities, and cultures. We are in the process of building multi-disciplinary squads for one of our international projects. 

You will be involved in:

  • Proposing and implementing technical solutions by developing and maintaining Java based components and interfaces
  • Defining technical objectives by analysing user requirements and proposing system features and functionality
  • Determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests (using TDD).
  • Integrating applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines and information servers
  • Creating development solutions based on best practice; contributing to team meetings; trouble-shooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms
  • Supporting customers (internal and external) by developing documentation and assistance tools
  • Ensuring the knowledge transfer process can be facilitated by contributing to developer forums and by performing coaching/mentoring activities

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6+ years Java experience
  • Multi-threaded programming
  • Spring framework
  • Hibernate
  • XML processing
  • Proficiency in Java debugging
  • Strong SQL
  • JMS
  • Jstack/Jmap
  • JMX
  • Unix
