Retail leaders seeks to hire a Senior Internal Auditor to assist in the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes within the business.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:
  • IIA (Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors)
Skills:
  • Excel Advanced – Non negotiable
  • Forensic auditing experience
  • Retail Audits beneficial
  • Data analysis
Job description:
  • Perform forensic audits
  • Conduct follow ups on audits to monitor management interventions
  • Manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports identifying data patterns
  • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
  • Ensure validity and goal achievements by giving independent and objective advise
  • Prepare and submit reports that reflect audit results
  • Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data and flowcharts etc
  • Assist in determining internal audit scopes and develop annual plans
  • Perform audit cycles including risk management and control management over operations effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations especially in the retail environment.
