JOB DESCRIPTION:

Established over 25 years ago, my client is a financial services organization that focuses on providing wealth and asset management and insurance solutions to clients. They pride themselves on the principles of integrity, trust and transparency.

The successful candidate would be required to add value to and improve operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. Risk and control within the financial services sector and some long-term insurance exposure are some the key elements of the role.

Duties:

Risk, control and control adequacy identification
Execute internal audits
Consolidation of and recommendation on findings
Creation and finalisation of audit reports
Define testing strategies

Qualifications:

BCom degree
CIA or CA(SA) – NB!

Experience:

Min 6 years experience (within financial services)
IT experience – advantageous
