JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

The client is recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to work in Stellenbosch full time. This client operates in several countries such as Uganda, Kenya, and Zambia therefore as a candidate you should be prepared to travel at least one week per quarter. The client is looking for an individual with humility and eager to inflict change. It is important for the candidate to be aware of the travelling involved and the number of international colleagues one will have to work well with. The client has great experience in entrepreneurship and lending.

Duties:

Organizing and discuss risks and objectives of the audit.
Draft audit notification letters and fulfil client requirements.
Drafting of audit procedures of areas that are vulnerable to operational fraud.
Managing a team.
Investigate findings with regards to cash variance checking.

Qualifications:

Completed CIA or studying towards.

Experience:

5-6 years’ experience within a similar role
Experience managing surbodinates.
