A listed concern, with a global footprint is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their team. The concern has divisions in freight and financial services to name a few.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for assessing and understanding business processes to identify key controls and risks as well as preparing work papers, computations, and statistical reports to ensure compliance. The Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for the performance of audits to identify control deficiencies, potential frauds, and regulatory compliance deficiencies. The successful candidate will assist the Divisional Audit Manager with planning the audit program and reviewing the audit guides as required, undertake audits as per the annual audit plan, write draft reports containing findings and agreed corrective action, review procedures as required, perform forensic audits as required.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

Newly qualified CA (SA)
Experience completing articles at one of the big 4 audit firms would be advantageous

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

Experience auditing clients in the retail/manufacturing industries is preferred
Able and willing to travel to the main cities in South Africa
Strong attention to detail and methodical
Ability to work unsupervised
Target/results driven
Confident and assertive
