Senior Inter-Company AP Clerk

POSITION INFO:
My client is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Senior Inter-Company Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely settlement of inter-company transactions across multiple regions and currencies.
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling inter-company accounts, processing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and supporting regional operations to ensure smooth inter-company financial processes.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile inter-company accounts, verifying balances and investigating discrepancies
• Process missing and outstanding inter-company invoices
• Support regional operations with inter-company-related queries
• Perform day-to-day inter-company financial transactions
• Prepare and report weekly updates on inter-company account statuses and discrepancies to the Regional Heads of Finance
• Communicate queries and resolutions effectively with the relevant regions and stakeholders
• Prepare settlement details for review and action by the Accounts Payable Manager and Regional Head of Finance
• Act as an accountability partner to operations teams across regions
• Structure work hours to ensure continuity of support across different global time zones

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in inter-company reconciliations
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in invoice processing and data capturing
• Proven experience in multi-country and multi-currency environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, and Teams)
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities
