POSITION INFO:

Senior IT Support
Location: East Rand
Salary: R25 000 - R30 000CTC plus travel reimbursement.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing IT Support to the entire company, telephonic and in person. Digital, Hardware and Software. Position entails travelling locally and into Africa.

Minimum Requirements
ï‚· The incumbent will need advanced skills in the administration of both Windows and Linux
servers.
ï‚· National Diploma in IT or BSC Degree
ï‚· Minimum 5 years in a similar role
ï‚· Unified WiFi
ï‚· Kaspersky Antivirus (on Enterprise Scale) 
ï‚· Active Directory - Maintaining Active Directory / Creating Users Accounts
ï‚· Google Suite
ï‚· Google App Script
ï‚· Setting up Google Mailboxes
ï‚· Servers (Windows Svr 2012 / 2016)
ï‚· Network Managed PoE Switches - HP / Cisco / Aruba
ï‚· VLANS
ï‚· Telephony (VoiP) 
ï‚· Installing and Configuring computer hardware / software / systems / networks / data
backups / copiers.
ï‚· Monitoring and Maintaining computer systems and networks 
ï‚· Unified WiFi
ï‚· Firewalls
ï‚· Kaspersky Antivirus (on Enterprise Scale) 
ï‚· Minimum 5 years experience.
ï‚· Grade 12 plus any Diploma or Degree in Infromation Technology.
ï‚· Sound knowledge of Networking, installation and configuration.
ï‚· Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, chipsets, memory modules, and
peripherals with the ability to handle installations and configurations.
ï‚· Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection
systems.
ï‚· Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues.
ï‚· Valid Driver’s Licence
ï‚· The incumbent must be able to work with people and be able to support the end user in
such a manner as to teach and guide that user, making them feel as if they are part of the
process.
ï‚· Good relations are key to our operation and relationship management is one of the most
important abilities that the incumbent must posses.
ï‚· The incumbent must further be self-motivated and must have the ability to make decisions
and follow through with the execution of those decisions.
ï‚· The willingness to learn, to ask questions and to work with the rest of the team is vital.

ï‚· Good written and verbal communication
