SUMMARY:
Senior General Foreman 6 Level Multi Level Building Structure
Must have 15+ years experience gained on large multi story apartment building projects as Senior Foreman / GF

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Liaison with Technical Team & chairing of meetings
Accurate interpretation of Drawings and understanding Specifications
Daily planning of resources and materials to achieve maximum output efficiencies in order to meet Programme dates
Ordering materials and hiring plant
Detailed setting out of the works from an established grid, benchmark or datum
Maintain and transfer datum levels
Daily checks of the works of Subcontractors for adherence to Drawings and Specifications
Cleanliness and good housekeeping
Safety requirements are compiled with and the work area is safe to work in
Complete Quality Assurance check lists daily and submit to Site Agent / Contract Manager
React to Non-conformance Reports immediately
Check or approve daily labour allocations by Site Clerk
Control wastage of materials
Liaise with Site Manager on the progress of different sites

Project details

28 Secure Apartments over 5 Floors, ranging in size from one bedroom apartments to four bedroom Penthouses.
Contract Value – R70 Million
Area - Newlands
