An engineering company with over a decade of existence is seeking to employ a Senior Fire Engineer to be based in Alberton. The successful candidate should be professionally registered with Engineering Council of South Africa as a Professional Engineer.

Applicants must have the following requirements:

Must have an Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Must be registered with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional Engine (Pr. Eng), or Professional Technologist (Pr. Tech.)

Must have 8 years’ experience working as a Fire Engineer within sprinkler, wet services & smoke extraction systems, hydrants & hose reels, fire signage for commercial buildings and rational fire designs

Must have great knowledge in Fire Pumps and Tanks Installation and design.

Must be able to manage and oversee fire projects as well as manage a team of engineers.

Must be Proficient in MS Office (word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook)

Must be able to work under pressure independently and within a team.
