Duties include but not restricted to:

• Implement best practice corporate governance controls, systems and legislative requirements;
• Plan, organise, direct and coordinate adherence to, and enforcement of, financial procedures, interventions and programs aimed at optimising profitability and good corporate governance;
• Coordinate and implement procedures and systems to execute and deliver required financial and management reporting;
• Interpret the financial results to management and recommend improvement activities;
• Direct, coordinate and implement the agreed treasury management procedures and programs;
• Coordinate and develop a pro-active business planning and management control systems;
• Manage the preparation of budget;
• Proactive involvement and provide input into the capital budgeting process, based on constraints analysis;
• Report to management on variances from established budget, and the reasons for those variances and remedial actions where required;
• Direct, coordinate and implement business risk and control management programs;
• Provide advice, facilitate managers in, among others, financial and commercial matters pertaining to good business practice.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12(Matric);
• BCom degree in Accounting/Economics/Business/Finance.
• CA(SA) or CIMA

Experience:

• 8/ 12 years’ experience in senior management role;
• Completed Articles;
• Must have experience managing a team effectively;
• Proven strategies in finance management that have worked in previous role.
