South Africa’s leading provider of home and auto audio solutions is searching for a Senior Financial Controller to join their fast-growing ranks. The company has operations all over the country, using exceptional global brands to service private, retail and wholesale clients. The ideal candidate must have a B.Com degree with solid SAP knowledge.

This company was built on a passion for music and all things related to quality sound. It started with speakers and evolved into a large business, providing bespoke and intricate customer solutions country-wide. The position of Senior Financial Controller supports finance with day-to-day transactions, including expenses, payroll, and the second in charge to the Financial Manager.

As Senior Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

Update financial spreadsheets and daily transactions
Prepare balance sheets
Track and reconcile bank statements
Create cost analysis reports for fixed and variable costs
Process tax payments
Review and submission of tax returns (VAT & EMP’s)
Support monthly payroll and keep organized records
Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers, and partners where needed
Provide administrative support during budget preparation
Provide administrative support for cashflow planning
Provide administrative support for monthly management account reporting
Participate in quarterly and annual audits
Prepare journal entries and allocations
Maintain the computerized accounting system and financial files and records

Job Experience and Skills Required:

B.Com with 3 years’ experience with similar duties as above
SAP Business One knowledge is beneficial
Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong sense of ethics
