This opportunity is ideal for a Senior Financial Accountant who enjoys combining strong technical expertise with commercial insight. Working closely with operational stakeholders, you'll take ownership of key financial processes in an environment where accuracy and performance go hand in hand.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review statutory financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Analyse financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide insights to support business performance
Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
Support the preparation of annual financial statements and coordinate external audit requirements
Drive improvements to financial controls, reporting processes, and operational efficiencies

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles (essential)
Minimum of 3 years' post-articles experience
Chemical manufacturing industry experience (essential)
Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing junior finance professionals
Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP systems proficiency
