JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company description:
My client is a South African specialist within the logistic sector across Air, Sea, Road freight and cross trades and pride themselves on providing cost-effective solutions to their customers both locally and cross border.
The deliverables of the role include compiling estimates according to client and agent requirements for all transport modes across imports and exports, ensure that the estimate charges correspond to client rates in CargoWise and Forwarding instructions, provide commercial insight through estimates for clients, commercial and operations.
This role reports into the Imports Manager.
Job experience and Skills Required:

Diploma in Logistics
3-5 years’ experience with estimates, with both sea and air imports
Knowledge of Customs Tariffs and Port Charges
Cargo Wise
Export and Import experience
Negotiation skills
