SUMMARY:
Senior Estimator with RFQ experience required for my client in Jet Park

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Matric or similar.
Min 5 Years relevant industry experience

People Skills:

Strong communications and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage relationship with customers, suppliers, fellow employees, and management.
Strong ability to tend to and resolve queries / problems efficiently and effectively.
Teamwork orientated, proactive and meticulous.
Knowledge of INCO terms are essential.
Intermediate computer literally skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Working experience of Shipshape (Advantageous)
Ability to work late when required / extremely deadline driven.
Ability to work in a pressurized environment.
Hands on individual with a strong work ethic.
Extreme attention to detail and adherence to internal procedures.

Key Performance areas:

Receive local and international enquiries by email.
Identify All requirements and thereafter requests rates (or work with rates on hand)
Preparation of quotes on shipshape (experience on Shipshape will be beneficial)
Follow up with customers on quotes sent.
Must be able to communicate well with customers.
Complete RFQ / tender documents
Coordinating the detailed content/ requirements to be included as part of the tender documentation with the relevant procurement team members.
Assist with key tender milestones in concert with tender administration processes to ensure they are accurately completed to meet deadlines.
Manage tender correspondence in line with internal and external guidelines.
Accurate inputting of tender milestone dates into the Tender project Tracker.
Manage the storing of all documentation relating to tenders.
Liaising with management and Trade managers as necessary in support of the tender process.
Raise potential risks and issues in relation to the tender process, as necessary.
Resolving client queries
Work cooperatively with other sales, pricing, and operational staff.
Back up to National pricing department
