Senior Digital Strategist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Digital Strategist must be an expert in the full range of digital and social media disciplines and channels.

She/he will drive innovative and highly effective digital media strategies for our clients as well as act as a thought leader within the company.

Excellent strategic thinking and executive communication skills are required.

You will ensure highly innovative strategic thinking is applied to clients'''' social media and digital plans and will lead the creation of ground breaking digital strategies.

You will ensure that content, paid media, CRM, SEO and community management are aligned in achieving the digital strategies created. You have a perfect mixture of brand storytelling and technical channel expertise, allowing you to thrive in the space between the creative and media teams, driving effectiveness in both disciplines.

Experience required :

6+ years’ experience in digital and/or social media strategy in a client-centred environment.

Experience in strategy consulting and/or marketing strategy across multiple industries and in an agency environment.

Professional experience developing digital strategy, content strategy, project managing digital programs and online advertising campaigns; ideally with large brand and global brand experience.

Strong passion for, and knowledge of, digital marketing, technology, social platforms, mobile marketing, emerging media and the internet as a whole. Exceptional team player with the confidence and integrity to earn client and internal team confidence quickly. • Excellent public speaking and deck-preparation / deck-presentation skills. • Proven ability to work under the pressures of an agency environment with fast-paced objectives and multiple client and internal asks. • Proven ability to bring strategic challenges to life in a way that convinces and inspires creative teams and clients. Bringing constructive insights into the business to aid in the creative development process. • Relevant Google and Social Media Channel certifications is a plus.
