SUMMARY:
Looking for a Senior Digital Journalist with a talent for writing, coupled with a keen interest in breaking news and current affairs.

POSITION INFO:

An opportunity for a Senior Digital Journalist exists within our client’s Digital Department, reporting to the Digital News Editor. The successful candidate will be very strong politically with political contacts and experience in political reporting. Senior enough to be able to get a couple of exclusives every week.

Purpose of the Job:

To cover news events assigned by the Digital News Editor and to produce accurate and well-written stories daily for the online publication.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Journalism.
Minimum 5 years’ mainstream journalism experience.
Talent for writing, coupled with a keen interest in breaking news and current affairs.
Established network of political contacts.
Newsroom and current affairs writing experience.
Valid driver’s license
Own reliable vehicle
Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary
