SUMMARY:
Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the Forestry sector is looking to employ a Senior Diesel Mechanic to join their dynamic team in the Eastern Cape (Ugie).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description: 

  • Updating of applicable workshop reports
  • Vehicle service intervals/Schedules
  • Stock Counts infield Unit
  • Housekeeping
  • Red Dot (Urgent Spares) board up to date and follow up with buyer on progress from suppliers.
  • Overtime sheets up to date to control overtime
  • Parts for Mechanic from Receiving area to Mechanic spares box
  • Safety file and tool box talk register up to date every month
  • Weekly safety audits

Job Requirements: 

  • Grade 12 and a Red Seal Qualification
  • Experience in Forestry Equipment
  • Minimum of 5 years
  • Valid Code 14 licence will be your advantage
  • Previous experience or exposure as a Senior Diesel Mechanic or Workshop Foreman
