A multinational energy and gas conglomerate seeks a seasoned Debtors Clerk to join their finance team based in Johannesburg East.

A multinational energy and gas conglomerate seeks a seasoned Debtors Clerk to join their finance team based in Johannesburg East.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Prepare and review bank reconciliations daily

Petty cash reconciliations monthly

Ensuring accurate allocation of receipts and expenses in debtors ageing

Prepare and review invoices generated against claims prior to submission

Ensure debtors submodule ageing is reconciled to the trial balance

Preparation of individual debtor reconciliations (statement to ageing)

Ensuring system generated debtor statements are accurate

Strong focus on collection of outstanding amounts

Preparation of weekly debtors summary report

Assist with audit queries

The successful incumbent will be someone who is knowledgeable in the full debtors function, customer service driven and who doesn''t mind going the extra mile.

Education:

Relevant tertiary qualification

Job Experience & Skills Required:

8 to 10 years'' experience in a debtors / accounts receivable role

Fluent in English and Afrikaans

Sage 300 / Accpac experience will be highy advantageous

Strong computer literacy

Attention to detail

Ability to successfully manage several different tasks simultaneously

Financial acumen

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Team player
