SUMMARY:
Electrical Manufacturing company seeks a Senior Creditors Clerk with some Bookkeeping background/experience.

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

Matric
Bookkeeping qualification or studying towards a Financial Diploma or Certificate

Requirements

4 - 6 Years working experience in Creditors
Solid understanding of Bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
Ability to calculate discounts, post bank transactions and recon supplier accounts to statements and process supplier journals to adjust small rounding
Office intermediate to advance, Pastel and Interdyne or similar

Duties

Capturing and processing all invoices and allocate discounts
Ensure all payments are paid within set standards
Ensure payments are made in time and according to supplier terms
Ensure that all invoices is complete and approved
Review petty cash recon submitted by Debtors Clerk
Recon petty cash vouchers to request replenishment
Ensure transactions are properly recorded
Maintain the AP system to ensure complete and accurate records
Maintain, update, create, secure, and archive petty cash records and files
Invoicing
Stand in for the bookkeeper
Assisting with stock take
Asset verification
Financial administration
