SUMMARY:
A privately-owned global telecommunications giant seeks a driven and analytical Credit Controller to join their finance team based in Johannesburg North.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing the debtors by maximizing collections and minimizing bad debt, as well as handling admin functions related to credit control.

Duties include but will not be limited to:
  • Extracting data from the ERP system and manipulate in MS Excel
  • Ensure accurate account entries
  • Customer communication and follow-ups
  • Ensure compliance with collection policy
  • Maximize collections and minimize bad debts
  • Prepare monthly pre-legal handover schedules
  • Assist Credit Manager where required
  • Manage and reduce 90+ days balances in line with group set targets
  • Debtors reconciliations
Education:
Completed Matric (Grade 12)
National Diploma in Credit Management

Job Experience & Skills Required:
10 to 12 years’ experience in a full function credit control role
Advanced MS Excel skills
Africa and foreign currency experience is essential
Strong reconciliation skills
Investigation and query resolution skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Deadline driven
