A well-established business management consulting company seeks an experienced and driven Credit Controller to join their finance team on a senior level. This role will be based in Cape Town.

A well-established business management consulting company seeks an experienced and driven Credit Controller to join their finance team on a senior level. This role will be based in Cape Town.

The purpose of this role will be to drive financial discipline through assessing credit applications and adhering to company payment policies and procedures to ensure maximum cashflow benefit to the group.

Duties include but not limited to evaluating financial records, contacting customers or clients regarding outstanding payments, development and implementation of benchmark policies.
The successful candidate will report to the Group Financial Manager.

Education:

Relevant Diploma or Degree in finance / accounting

Skills & Experience:

6 to 7 years'' experience within a credit controller role is essential

Strong computer literacy

Accpacc / Sage 300 experience is essential

Financial acumen

Strong personality

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Team player

Someone who are prepared to work extended hours when need be
