A reputable mortgage financial services provider has a great new opportunity available to appoint a qualified Senior Credit Analyst.

One will be responsible to assess credit worthiness of applicants (mortgage and other credit products) through undertaking detailed risk assessment analysis on clients and lending applications, ensure that procedures and decisions comply with credit policy and best practice standards, and motivate and support decisions through the analysis of financial information such as bank statements, financial statements, and management accounts.

The Senior Credit Analyst must specialise in assessing complex deals as well as self-employed applications and provide quality service to internal customers and liaise with other staff within the company, such as sales managers, further lending staff, unsecured lending staff and registrations officers.

One is responsible to stay informed about the legal, compliance and market – risk-related issues involved in the approval of credit, provide regular feedback on the submission of loan applications to management, assist in training, supervising, and mentoring new/other staff members if and when required to do so by Credit Management, and Ad hoc reporting / projects when required by Credit management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A completed relevant Finance/ Accounting/ Business degree  
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Credit Underwriter/Analyst
