JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:
Managing and participating in process focused internal audit and risk advisory projects.
ï· Perform end-to-end audit activities, including planning, execution, and reporting, for financial and
operational audits and reviews of various organisational and functional activities including internal
accounting and operational controls.
ï· Perform Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audits
ï· Identify issues and root cause, risk assess impact, and propose value-add recommendations to
Remediate related risks.
ï· Articulate and present audit findings/audit related topics to clients.
ï· Working effectively as a team member - sharing responsibility, developing and coaching junior staff,
delegating to a team, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team
members on progress.
ï· Collating observations, determining and agreeing resolutions and reporting on these for clients and
other stakeholders.

Requirements:
B.Compt Honours / Bcom Honours in Internal Auditing/ B.Com Honours in Information Systems
ï· One of more of the following qualifications:
o Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
o Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
ï· A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in the following areas:
ï· Internal audit including compliance reviews.
ï· Proficient in internal audit standards and internal control and risk management frameworks
ï· Able to identify and articulate principles that can underpin effective governance.
ï· Understanding of processes, risks and controls
ï· Business process mapping
ï· Risk identification assessment, mitigation and remediation.
ï· Experience in supervising end-to-end engagements.
ï· Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
ï· IT general and application control reviews.
ï· Proficient in data privacy regulations such as GDPR and POPIA.
ï· Enterprise and fraud risk assessments.

ï· Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with client personnel
