AWS Engineer required for a permanent role which can be based anywhere in Scotland.

They''re a long-standing consultancy with a strong 25-year history behind them, and the financial backing of a well-known Scottish company. They are a year into establishing their AWS practice and have an impressive client list, meaning that there is never a shortage of interesting projects to get stuck in to.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of Scotland''s most exciting consultancies with a number of Enterprise level clients where no two days are the same. You will help to drive Cloud transformation in businesses across Scotland and strive to make this company the "go-to" consultancy for AWS in Scotland.
You?
You will have an excellent understanding of the end to end process of AWS Cloud Solutions - from initial requirements gathering through implementation and support. It is important that you have prior experience within hybrid cloud environments and ideally a Systems Administration background: Windows, VMWare or Linux.
You will work with customers to identify, scope and deliver cloud solutions alongside the wider team including the Cloud Architects.
You''ll have experience of the below.
** The Tech: Terraform / Salt / Gitlab / Python
** In depth experience of AWS - Design & engineering of Public Cloud / Hybrid Solutions
** Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) process
** Certifications: You''ll ideally hold an AWS certification to Speciality or Professional level. You don''t need to have the certs (the knowledge will do) but they would be a bonus
** This is a client facing role so the ability to present your work to both non-technical and technical people, so good communication is key

We are offering the opportunity for you to be a technical specialist in a cutting-edge environment where you will be the "go-to" expert for high level Cloud projects.
The salary on offer is between £45,000 to £55,000 with some flexibility if required.
Where will I be working?
At the moment, they are working remotely and going forward you will only need to pop up to Dundee once or twice a week - "post Covid". There will also be times when you are on a customer site. You don''t necessarily need to drive as transport can be provided and most of their clients are based in Central Scotland with great transport links.
The company have hubs across Central Scotland so if you live in/near any of Scotland''s cities, that would be fine.
The Interview and Onboarding
At the moment, the interview process will consist of an initial screening call and a Teams interview. The onboarding process is also completely remote, and they have got it down to a fine art with recent hires. On joining. there is the option of hardware too, so whether you prefer PC or Mac - it''s totally up to you.
