A Manufacturing company based in Johannesburg is urgently looking for a Senior Buyer to join their fast-paced environment to maintain raw material database within MRP System for accuracy of pricing and specifications

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Experience & Skills Required:

  • Matric
  • Degree / Diploma in Purchasing or Supply chain
  •  3-5 years’ experience in MRP and Syspro- Not Negotiable
  •  5 years’ experience in Procurement
  • 3 years’ experience in electronics or appliance business  

 

Job description

  • Maintain and follow purchasing procurers to confirm to ISO standards
  • Deal with queries effectively
  • Must have a good understanding of the BBBEE
  • Maintain and build good relationship with suppliers
  •  Identify alternative suppliers to fill present and future needs
  • Forecast analysis
