Senior Business Analyst - (CONTRACT)

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

• Understand and document business requirements and business processes for agreed projects
• Provide input and document proposed services and solutions to meet the business requirements
• Understand and define a Business Case with solution options (including Costs and Benefits) for proposed software solutions/services to address the business requirements
• Understand and document data requirements for the project (e.g. Where data or documents will be managed and stored)
• Define security requirements for the solution/services being sourced
• Define project scope, create/maintain project tasks and deliverables (project plan) in collaboration with the Principal Business Analyst
• Ensure that third party and/or technical team contracts and deliverables are clearly specified
• Work closely with the Principal Business Analyst and other project resources to track project progress
• Define/document user training materials and project roll-out plan
• Co-ordinate users during UAT and offer User Support during and after implementation of software solutions/services for the project
• Assist with software solution testing/UAT on the project when required

Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree or relevant business-related tertiary qualification or a recognised BA certification
• 5 years relevant experience as a business analyst (with strong project management skills)
• Strong business process analysis experience
• Computer literacy (MS Office, MS Visio)
• Project management competency
• System Documentation experience
• Knowledge of organisation Policy Management Processes and Systems would be highly beneficial
