POSITION INFO:

Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg Metro, Sandton

Job Type: 11 month Contract, expected to work full-time hours

Job Duties:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes and systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
• Develop detailed business cases and project plans
• Provide recommendations for strategic business decisions
• Lead cross-functional teams in project implementation
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate outcomes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
• Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field

Experience:

• 7+ years’ working experience as a Business or Systems Analyst
• Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
• Intermediate knowledge in generating process documentation
• Knowledge in reading SQL queries
• Ability to explain technical details
• Experience and exposure to project management or team lead roles
• Experience in the health industry or HR environments will be an advantage

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques
• Understanding of IT systems and software development lifecycle
• Knowledge of project management methodologies
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Professional certification in Business Analysis or Project Management
