Senior Bookkeeper (JB2174)
Lanseria
R25 000.00 to R35 000.00 a month CTC
Duration: Permanent

A well-established, busy flight school in Lanseria is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper with excellent interpersonal relationship skills to join their dynamic Team. The successful candidate will be dealing with many foreign students on a baily basis. They provide the highest standard of pilot training available, as well as an entire overview of the commercial aviation sector. Owned and operated by a current Airbus Captain, they provide a reality check about the path to becoming a Commercial Pilot.

Minimum Requirements:
Matric
Drivers License and vehicle
5 to 6 years Bookkeeping experience
Solid Understanding of Bookkeeping
Solid Understanding of accounting payable and receivable principles
Good understanding of Pastel Accounting package

Duties and Responsibilities: 
Ability to produce accounts to trial balance stage
Balancing accounts
Perform partial checking on processing stages
Processing sales invoices, receipts, and payments
Completing VAT returns
Checking company bank statements
Preparing cash flow statements
Dealing with financial paperwork and filing
Managing petty cash
Hands on Experience with spreadsheets
Payroll
