My client is a medical equipment supplier, and they are looking for a vibrant individual to join their team.
 
As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for the following:
 
Payroll duties:
  • Payroll preparation & submission to external payroll company
  • Payroll administration – UIF, Workman’s Comp, Stats SA
  • Payroll Journals
  • Staff Creditors processing & reconciliations
  • HR administration
  • BEE administration – payroll related
 
Group Bookkeeping to balance sheet:
  • Balance sheets reconciliations
  • Journals
  • Fixed Asset accounting
  • Subledger reconciliation - Creditors/Debtors/Inventory vs TB
  • Intercompany Loan Account reconciliation
  • Clearing Account reconciliation – Creditors’ (Foreign & Local)
  • Audit Assistance
  • Authorize Creditors Reconciliations - Local & Foreign
  • VAT reconciliations and submission – (Local & Foreign) Debtors/Creditors VAT exposure essential
  • Cashbook & cashbook reconciliations – (Local & Foreign).
  • Debtors (Local & Foreign) - credit notes (as per SOP).
  • Cooperate with other members of finance team
  • Provide finance administrative support
  • Proper and comprehensive filing
  • Assisting Financial Manager when required
Qualifications:
Completed Matric
Accounting Diploma
 
Skill:
5 years’ experience
Attention to detail
