My client is a medical equipment supplier, and they are looking for a vibrant individual to join their team.

As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for the following:

Payroll duties:

Payroll preparation & submission to external payroll company
Payroll administration – UIF, Workman’s Comp, Stats SA
Payroll Journals
Staff Creditors processing & reconciliations
HR administration
BEE administration – payroll related

Group Bookkeeping to balance sheet:

Balance sheets reconciliations
Journals
Fixed Asset accounting
Subledger reconciliation - Creditors/Debtors/Inventory vs TB
Intercompany Loan Account reconciliation
Clearing Account reconciliation – Creditors’ (Foreign & Local)
Audit Assistance
Authorize Creditors Reconciliations - Local & Foreign
VAT reconciliations and submission – (Local & Foreign) Debtors/Creditors VAT exposure essential
Cashbook & cashbook reconciliations – (Local & Foreign).
Debtors (Local & Foreign) - credit notes (as per SOP).
Cooperate with other members of finance team
Provide finance administrative support
Proper and comprehensive filing
Assisting Financial Manager when required

Qualifications:
Completed Matric
Accounting Diploma

Skill:
5 years’ experience
Attention to detail
