SUMMARY:

Our Client is on the hunt for an experienced individual to provide the functions of a Senior Bookkeeper.

POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Capturing of all financial transactions. Ie: expenses, sales payments, receipts on Pastel
Preparing and processing of all standard monthly account payments
Ensure all financial records and files in the office are well organized and accessible when required
Invoicing and collecting all monies due to the company
Assisting the sales and marketing department with all necessary documents, reports and filling
Advising the financial manager of daily basis of all payments
Daily reporting of bank balance and monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
Petty cash control
Reconciling of balance sheet accounts (Fixed Assets, Debtors, Creditors and Loan Accounts)
Liaising with external and internal auditors.

Minimum requirements:

Matric
Relevant Diploma or Equivalent in Accounting
Working knowledge of Pastel
Previous bookkeeping experience
Previous experience of working in a multicultural and multilateral organization
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Confidentiality of information, displaying integrity with sensitive and personal information
MS Office-Excel and Word knowledge
