SUMMARY:
Our client is recruiting for a Senior Bookkeeper, who has strong attention to detail and a can do attitude.

POSITION INFO:

Daily Duties

Preparing payment schedules and authorising of payments
Processing of cashbook, debtors and creditors into accounting system
Reconciling creditor invoices to statements
Assisting management with any other financial requirements

Monthly duties

Processing of payroll and payment
PAYE preparation and submission
Vat report preparation and submission
FAW report preparation and submission
Assisting with cashflow budget (providing details of monthly receipts and payments)
Preparation of month-end payments
Preparing management accounts and reporting thereof
Processing and submission of debtor invoices
Liaising with site staff ensure source documents are received in a timely manner

Other Duties

Audits for all companies:

Preparation of administration documents for investment initiatives
Preparation of final trial balance from GL transactions for submission to auditors

Tax and Statutory Requirements:

Preparation and submission of EMP501 reconciliation
Implementing internal administration controls
