SUMMARY:
Our client, a proudly South African retail/fast food outlet is currently seeking the services of an experienced Senior Bookkeeper. The company is growing it's national footprint and also its Finance team!

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

Reporting to the Chief Accountant
B.Com or National Diploma in Accounting or equalivent.
Minimum 5 years bookkeeping experience (retail or fast food experience an advantage).
Understanding of the the VAT Act.
Pastel Partner experience essential.
Knowledge of Inventory Module on Pastel Partner.
Solid understanding of accounting concepts.
Computer skills in MS Excel, MS Word, Internet, and email.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Debtors and creditors function.
Invoicing, customer statements and reconciling accounts.
Process bank statements.
Process journal entries.
Compile monthly management accounts.
VAT calculations.
