SUMMARY:
Durban. Established business within the glass manufacturing sector seeks competent Bookkeeper with at least 5 years experience to take responsibility for the full Bookkeeping to Trial Balance function. Strong knowledge of, and experience working on Pastel Partner and Pastel Payroll is essential.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Processing of creditors invoices on Pastel, monthly reconciliation to statements and payments, and addressing supplier queries
Pastel journal processing of creditors invoices, sales, cashbook entries etc.
Preparation of cashbook payments
Balance sheet recons including EMP201, VAT, and bank recon
Full Payroll function on Pastel Payroll including processing and payment of wages and salaries, preparation, reconciliation, and submission of EMP501 reports, and addressing all wage and salary related queries
HR Administration including staff COID and medical related submissions and follow ups
