SUMMARY:
An ever-expanding Audit firm is looking for a Senior Board Support Consultant to join one of their divisions. The successful candidate needs to assist client boards and ensure their compliance and governance, to ensure they are compliant in terms of the relevant laws and regulations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Ensure compliance and provide advocacy for clients (Companies Act and King IV)
Maintain books and registers
Prepare and organize agendas and papers
Prepare Board Evaluation Questionnaire’s and draft reports thereof
Identify and mitigate internal systems and procedure barriers
Lodgement of CIPC documents

Education:

B-degree in Law (LLB), Corporate Governance or similar
Registered Compliance Officer
Chartered Governance Institute of South Africa

Experience:

4 – 5 years Corporate Law or Governance
