SUMMARY:
Your Role:
Is to be the clients go to person for all things related to data and BI analysis. Whether it’s analysis and tools relating to sales or customer data - you are that team member for us. You’ll ensure data consistency and data accuracy. Importantly equipping the teams at the client to make more informed decisions. You’ll need to listen, think and collaborate with all teams to achieve this.

POSITION INFO:

  • Responsibilities:
  • - Build reports new reports based on briefs from various business units.
  • - Maintain reports created and further develop them as needed.
  • - Be the driver of data integrity, consistency and accuracy in the business.
  • - Regular collaboration with teams. Especially:
  • o C-suite (CEO, COO, CFO etc)
  • o Merchandise
  • ▪ Store
  • ▪ Digital
  • o Marketing
  • - Ensuring teams ‘scorecards’ are generated at a click of a button for fast reporting.
  • - Upskill team members on how to read and use reports for their division’s needs.
  • - Stay abreast of industry standards, system upgrades, development tools, participating in educational opportunities as well as sharing skills and best practice with team members to ensure continual growth of the team from a data and BI point of view.
  • - Lead the build-out our customer segmentation in collaboration with the wider team ensuring we deliver a more tailored message to customers.
  • Requirements:
  • - University degree, ideally in a field of computers, accounting, math, biology or science.
  • - 4+ years'' experience as an analyst/data scientist.
  • - PowerBI, Pivot tables and SSRS.
  • - Azure skills.
  • - MS SQL Server Administration.
  • - MS SQL Scripting.
  • - MS SQL Integration services.
  • - MS SQL Analysis services.
  • - Data ETL processes.
  • - Design and building of a data warehouse.
  • - Working knowledge of relational databases.
  • - Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • - Able to learn new technologies quickly by researching and building upon existing knowledge.
  • - Understanding, but even better experience with retail metrics and data.
