To lead a team in the provision of functional support to the company Business Applications, with the focus on testing, business analysis, configuration and general support

POSITION INFO:
JOB DESCRIPTION

Drive or lead a team in the provision of functional support to company users with the focus on testing, analysis, configuration, system setup and general support.
Take responsibility for driving functional analysis initiatives or lead a team of analysts or a cross functional team on projects of multi-year in nature/long cycle.
Lead engagements with clients, taking responsibility for managing the relationship and interface with the client.
Develop a partnership role with business owners and interact with clients independently to define future business requirements, identify opportunities for optimisation, propose and develop solutions.
Support the relevant architect in defining, analysing and developing the business architecture, reference model and framework, and implementation of roadmaps required to enable the strategy.
Manage change requirements and supporting specifications and also plan and coordinate user acceptance testing.
Provide substantive input to support disciplines (e.g. systems development, project management, quality management and change management).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information or Business Administration, Commerce or an equivalent qualification;
Eight years’ experience within a business analysis environment/application support or project environment;
Experience in developing and maintaining software; and
Knowledge and experience in the field of financial supervisory / regulatory systems and processes.
