Senior Angular Developer

Location: Cape Town (as you’ll be working on-site and remote)

Relevant IT Qualification

Level: strong intermediate - Senior

• Strong Angular 4+ experience (a must)
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS, with focus more on SASS.
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks including jQuery.
• NPM component packaging & NgRX for state management are an advantage.
• Understanding and knowledge of other JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS, etc. are advantageous.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Experience in taking handover from Sketch and InVision (with embedded specifications) from design teams
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image, such as Photoshop is a plus
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
• Knowledge in the SCRUM Agile framework is advantageous.
• You’ll be working in an Azure environment, but Azure experience isn’t a must have, just a bonus
