A medical firm seeks to employ a Senior Accounts Clerk / Bookkeeper, this is a vital role and all requirements need to be met.

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

Matric
Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping or Finance

Requirements

5 - 10 Years Accounting / Bookkeeping experience
Minimum 5 years'' experience in a Senior Creditors / Bookkeeping role
Must have good working knowledge on Advanced Excel and Pastel Accounting
Experience in working with a large creditors book in a medium to large organisation
Posting of journal entries
Doing creditors reconciliations
Accounting up to trial balance
Knowledge of settlement discounts
Cashbook on Pastel

Duties

Capturing of invoices and doing creditors reconciliations on Excel
Capturing of payments and receipts and reconciling to bank statements
Accounting journals up to trial balance
Assisting in balance sheet accruals
Assist in fixed asset control and depreciation
Capturing jounals and reconciliations
Financial controls and monitoring on Excel spreadsheets
