Senior Accountant (Statutory Reporting) (N/Suburbs of Cape Town) R45,000 – R60,000 PM

JOB DESCRIPTION:

I am seeking a Statutory Reporting Senior Accountant to take ownership, along with the Team Lead, of a new client engagement building the team and being a part of the structure; responsible for annual statutory compliance and reporting activities for a portfolio of European located subsidiaries and the client being a US corporation with global footprints.

Requirements:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA)

- A minimum of 3 years post articles experience

- Above average Excel proficiency

- Good understanding of an ERP system

- NetSuite

- Large international corporate experience working across multiple jurisdictions

- experience in preparing financial statements, preferably international, on local GAAP

- proven experience as an auditor and experience working with auditors

- international accounting exposure particularly the Europe region (France, Ireland, Belgium, etc.)

- Prior experience working with / setting up parallel ledger
