Senior Accountant

Job & Company Description:
A well-established IT and Telecoms conglomerate seeks an analytical and technically strong Senior Accountant to join their team based in Johannesburg North.

Duties include, but not limited to:
Releasing payments
Update and monitor bank statements and accounts
Fixed Asset depreciation
Payroll
Sales administration
Expense allocations
Reconciliations
VAT calculations
Preparation of financials
Monthly journals
Full bookkeeping function
CIPC duties

Education:
BCom in finance or accounting

Skills & Experience:
3 to 4 years' experience in a full function accounting role is essential
CIPC knowledge and experience
Sage Evolution working knowledge
Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel
Strong personality
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
