A well reputed industry pioneer in the pharmaceutical space is looking to diversify it’s team with a newly qualified chartered accountant who will project the company towards new heights as a senior accountant.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

You must be a registered CA(SA)
You must have an understanding of PASTEL/ERP
You must understand the technical aspects of finance

Job description

You must verify the invoices and payments of both local and foreign suppliers
You will be involved in monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
You will be assisting in the preparation of annual budgets
You must provide inputs to the weekly cash-flow forecast
You will be assisting in the audit of sales
You will be involved in the processing of inter-company recharge journals
You will be involved in the daily update of entities bank balances and compilation of daily bank reconciliations
You will assist in the month end reporting process, external audit queries and data requests.
You will assist in the compilation of supporting data for BBBEE verification
You will be involved in processing goods received onto pastel for stock received and verifying the accuracy of the information on supplier invoices.
You will be assisting with implementation, maintenance and improvement of financial controls, policies and procedures and systems where necessary
You will be responsible for the company secretarial work across various group companies
