SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Accountant. Our client within the fintech industry that is very much still in the startup space is experiencing growth within the company and would like to add skilled individuals to their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The senior accountant will report into the Head of Finance and needs to be someone with leadership qualities that can take initiative. You would need to be able to assist and manage the junior accounting staff, manage the daily and month end operational activities, monthly management accounts and reporting packs, assist with the annual financial statements, manage day to day creditors, preparation of statutory returns. VAT submissions and tax compliance, assist with the year end, ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

Qualification:
BCom Financial Accounting or similar
SAIPA/ SAICA articles non negotiable
Minimum 3 – 5 years commercial experience
