SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity for a senior financial accountant has become available. Our client within fintech who is very much still in the startup space is growing their team. The company is active in financial wellness, BNPL and credit scoring with a footprint in several Sub-Saharan African countries.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Manage month-end and daily operational activities
Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
Monthly management accounts and reporting packs
Assist with preparations of annual financial statements
Manage the day-to-day creditor’s function
Preparation of statutory returns, VAT submissions and tax compliance
Budgets and forecasts
Assist with year end group audit and key deliverables
Ad-hoc reporting and analysis to meet the requirements of Management
Manage the junior accounting staff

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 to 3 years post article experience

Qualification:
BCom / BAcc degree
SAICA / SAIPA articles nonnegotiable
