SUMMARY:
Heavy Engineering Manufacturing company requires Senior Accountant for fixed term contract

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

Matric
BCom Accounting and/or similar

Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience on SAP system, specifically with the finance modules
Extensive experience with management reports, forecasting, planning and analysing of margin variances against the actual planned margin as well as the overall management of the Finance Team
Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong customer focus and able to work under pressure.
Excellent understanding of IRFS and SAP system.
Must be willing to work additional hours to meet customer expectations as and when required.

Duties

Cash flow forecast including treasury workbook creditor payments and debtor’s receipts as well as operational cash flow
Balance sheet recons monthly
Running all SAP reports over month end prior to management accounts
Preparation of management accounts at month end
Updating and maintaining fixed asset register
WIP and inventory management
