SUMMARY:
A Multinational Mining Company based in the North of Johannesburg has a vacancy for a Senior Accountant. Experience working on SAP and a completed Degree together with experience reporting into overseas is essential.

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Financial Administration of Projects

Settlements processing

Reporting into USA (must be able to work with flexibility to adhere and accommodate USA cut off times.)

Processing Revenue

Administration of Assets

Standard Bank BOL

Debtors management

Creditors payments and recons

VAT processing

Candidates must be:

Able to follow instructions

Able to wok in a team as well individually

Aware of statutory deadlines (VAT, PAYE) as well as adherence to Month end deadlines

Able to work overtime if necessary

Requirements:

A completed Degree with at least 5 to 7 years work experience

Must have worked in a multinational entity or have sufficient experience as a Senior Accountant

SAP is a minimum requirement

Candidate must be available to start working immediately - this is a temporary position
