A leading company in Johannesburg is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their finance team.

As the Senior Accountant; you will maintain the financial accounting function within the division.

As a Senior Accountant, you will responsible for the following:

Oversee, implement and maintain financial accounting
Journals entries to the General Ledger
Control monthly accruals
Identify financial accounting risks
Report on all cost activities (budget, forecasts)
Report on variances
Review balance sheet recons
Assist with internal and external auditors

Qualifications:

Completed Bcom or National Diploma

Skill:

3 -5 experience in a similar role

Knowledge of GAAP

Knowledge of IFRS

Attention to detail

Management exposure would be beneficial
