Senior Accountant

SUMMARY:
Are you a mathematical whiz with the ability to perform the full accounting function? We are looking for a Senior Accountant with 5 years commercial experience in a senior position to make their mark. If you think you can fill this roll, send me your CV today.

POSITION INFO:

Full Accounting Function, Including Preparation of Management Accounts.

Review Function and Preparation of Management Accounts for three of our Manufacturing Companies.

Calculations, Reconciliations and Accounting on a monthly basis.            

Monthly Management Accounts review, analysis and corrective action where required.

Assist in Compiling Annual Budgets.

Budgetary control - Create and upload annual Budget templates.

Review off all 15 day and Month end payment pack prepared by the creditors department and releasing the payments on the bank for Manufacturing Companies and any other Company in need of assistance (1st reviewer).

Assist Financial Manager and Group Senior Accountant with preparations of the Annual Financial Audit and Turnover Audit.

Assist Financial Manager with reviewing and or performing monthly VAT calculations.

Assist in performing ad hoc calculations, reviews and reconciliations.

Assist in developing new reports and accounting practice.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years Accounting Experience in a senior accounting position

Pastel Partner training and experience

Management Experience

Qualification:

BCom in Accounting

Honors Degree in Finance or a completed CIMA

Completed SAICA Articles
