Join a well-established business in a hands-on Junior Accountant role where you'll gain exposure across accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, reporting, and financial analysis. Working closely with the Accountant and Senior Accountant, this position offers an excellent opportunity to build your accounting career within a supportive and collaborative finance team. POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Process and capture supplier invoices, ensuring accurate allocation and matching to purchase orders
Perform creditor reconciliations and manage supplier accounts to ensure timely payments
Process petty cash transactions and maintain supporting documentation
Assist with monthly and ad-hoc payment processes and supplier queries
Process journals and assist with month-end accounting requirements
Manage invoice and statement distribution to customers.
Provide support to the debtors function, including accruals and reporting requirements
Maintain fixed asset records and process fixed asset transactions.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, and financial analysis
Prepare reports and provide support to the Financial Manager and broader finance team
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures

Skills & Experience:

Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Advanced Excel skills
Experience working with Sage or similar accounting systems - advantageous
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Excellent organisational and administrative skills

Qualification:

Diploma in Finance, Accounting OR Equivalent
Degree in Accounting - advantageous
