Senior Accountant – Kimberley
A leading supplier of world-class beef products is looking for a true business partner, with excellent interpersonal skills to join their Finance Team as a Senior Accountant.
Requirements
A qualified CA (SA) / B.Com Accounting graduate with a minimum of five years relevant experience
Responsibilities
Maintain complete and proper records of revenue, expenditure, assets and liabilities, and must ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information for designated entities in the Group.
The person will report to the Group Finance Manager.
Oversee, manage & drive for designated companies in the Group the following:
- the finance & accounting function;
- the financial & accounting system controls and standards;
- the budget & forecast processes;
- the annual financial audits by liaising with external auditors & ensuring timely preparation of financial information;
- the debtors, creditors & cash functions;
- the monthly balance sheet substantiation, reconciliations & management account reporting.
Attending to all tax matters, reconciliations & submissions including, but not limited to VAT, payroll taxes & CIT.
Assist with the treasury function of the Group, submission of SARB approvals & forex transactions.
Assist with ad hoc calculations, reconciliations & queries from other department heads.
Manage the staff complement for the designated Group companies and optimise team performance.
Salary: Market related and based on experience
